1. He was once a shepherd boy who kept his flock at a little distance from the village.

2. He ran towards the village crying out with all his might saying "Wolf! Wolf! Come and help! The wolves are at my lambs!" And the villagers left their work and ran to help him, but when they got there the boy laughed at them because there was no wolf there.

3. Because he was bored, he thought of playing a trick on the villagers and having some fun watching at their responses.

4. The villagers heard him screaming for help but they thought it was another mean trick, so no one paid the least attention or went near him.

5. The moral of the story is don't make fun of others, because one day if you need their help they won't come to the rescue.
