Meeting invitations in Indonesia are usually quite informal. The director or the company only spread the news by the word of mouth or short simple announcement on the notice board, which is quite sufficient for an internal meeting, while for the external one which involves other parties, the host would invite them by email and the guest or other parties only just present on the D-day.
In other countries, the meeting invitations for internal staffs might be the same but for the one which also involves other parties, they would send the invitation by email and printed letter. The guest or other parties would also need to reply for the availability on the D-day.
